Focus Mindz Entertainment is an independent company producing film, television and music. We keep the slate deliberately small so that every project gets the same thing: attention, honesty and someone who answers the phone.
Our work sits between the creative and the commercial — reading a script properly, knowing which rooms a record belongs in, and saying no to the opportunities that would only look good on paper.
We make films and series with the actor Jermel Wilson, release records for the recording artist Franky Steel — the label's current release is Edi, fourteen tracks, with the music distributed through Roc Nation Distribution — and design the merchandise that carries both.
Right now the company is producing Behind the Shield, a television series created and executive produced by Jermel Wilson — same team, same standard, carried from first draft to final cut.
